Waoow! we have a big drama month this July. A lot of new dramas are premiering and it is the beginning of the other half of 2019. It means a lot of dramas have completed already and you can now finally prepare your 2019 watch list of Korean dramas. And to help you with that I’m soon uploading a recap list of the first half of 2019 Korean dramas. So stay tuned for update. 🙂

Ok! now lets talk about July 2019 dramas. Ahh! we have a total of 17 dramas this month and the good thing is that most of them are of rom-com genres. If you are in a mood for some medical crime investigation kind of dramas, then don’t worry as we have a plenty of them to watch too. Season 2 of “My First First Love”, Korean adaption of American “Designated Survivor” and Choi Jin Hyuk is up for yet another revenge in “Justice”. What an amazing drama journey it is going to be! I can’t wait to see how they all will do. I think I will watch “Class Of Lies” and “Love Affairs In The Afternoon” because I’m in mood for such genres.

1. Designated Survivor: 60 Days

“Designated Survivor” story goes like this. A bomb explosion results in the death of many high-ranking government officials along with the president. Then a Minister of Environment Park Moo-Jin (Ji Jin-hee) who was a professor of chemistry before, is given the job to run the country for 60 days. He unwillingly does it, but comes out as a good leader and also tries to find the people behind the explosion.

2. Love Affairs In The Afternoon

“Love Affairs in the Afternoon” Korean drama will tell the story of a married woman Son Ji-Eun (Park Ha Sun) who moves to a small city with her husband. Son Ji Eun started working at a local mart. Her ordinary life takes a turn when she meets someone living completely opposite life to hers. He is a local biology teacher Yoon Jung-Woo (Lee Sang Yeob).

3. Watcher

“Watcher” will tell the story of three people who join hands to find the dark hidden secrets of police and powerful people related to corruption. The three people are lawyer Han Tae Joo (Kim Hyun Joo), Do Chi Kwang (Han Suk Kyu), the chief of a team that investigates corruption at the Korean National Police Agency and police officer Kim Young Goon (Seo Kang Joon).

4. Level Up

Kdrama “Level Up” will revolve around Ahn Dan Te (Sung Hoon) and Shin Yeon Hwa (Han Bo Reum). Ahn Dan Te specializes in restructuring companies. He doesn’t talk much and only cares about the work. He is often considered as rude by others. Shin Yeon Hwa is a game developer at a company named Joy-buster. She is very passionate about her work. Their love story begins when Ahn Dan Te takes responsibility to save the Joybuster company from going bankrupt.

5. Hotel Del Luna

“Hotel Del Luna” will tell the story about a haunted hotel called ‘Del Luna’ and the adventures of Jang Man-wol (IU) and Goo Chan-seong (Yeo Jin Go) in that hotel. Where Jang Man-wol is a girl who has been cursed and is somehow forced to stay in the hotel as the manager. And Goo Chan-seong is the hotelier.

6. Class Of Lies

To make things better once again he disguise himself as a temporary teacher (under the name Ki Kang Je) in high school and tries to disclose a secret hidden among students.

7. Doctor Detective

8. Justice

9. Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung

“Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung” will show the romance between a female rookie historian named Goo Hae Ryung (Shin Se Kyung) and prince Yi Rim (Cha Eun Woo). Yi Rim is also a romance novelist but he has never dated anyone. The drama will also show the change in prejudices regarding women working in the palace.

10. Doctor John

He is also popular by the name “10 seconds” because he can detect a patient in 10 seconds. Kang Shi-young (Lee Se-young) is a doctor who also works in the Department of Anesthesia. She was a top student at medical school which is often credited to her mother who is also a doctor.

Korean drama “Golden Garden” will tell the story of four people who are from different backgrounds. They all gets involved in a single case. Beside being an orphanage Eun Dong Joo (Han Ji Hye) is of bright and positive personalty. Cha Pil Seung (Lee Sang Woo) is a detective whose parents died when he was young. He cannot fall in love due to the trauma of his parents death.

Im Jin Joo is drama script writer with a unique personality. Hwang Han Joo is the head in the drama company marketing team who is also a single mother and Lee Eun Jung is a documentary director.

S2 will continue with more new and deeper understanding about love and friendship.

Everybody say kungdari postr 2019

“Everybody Say Kungdari” Korean drama story will revolve around Song Bo Mi (Park Si Eun) who gets kicked out of United states as she didn’t have a US citizenship. She was adopted there. She then moves back to her hometown village called Kungdari. There she meets Han Soo-Ho (Kim Ho Jin), a former successful financier in United States. Han Soo Ho now lives in Kungdari to find a herbal medicine for his ill daughter here.

    1. Lolz, I know this time it is so confusing. Many fans have decided to watch all. Although it is not possible 😀 I can only watch two at a time. Only then I can get into a drama. How many can you watch Kay?

      1. Haha, I think watching all of them might do in even the best drama watchers. If I wanted to, I could probably watch 6-8 at a time, but I generally prefer just to just watch one over about a week so I can just really focus on it. It’s easier, no waiting for episodes since I can watch them all and get caught up finale week, and I find I enjoy the drama better that way 🙂
