Woo Do Hwan (Tempted) joins Lee Min Ho (Legend Of The Blue Sea) and Kim Go Eun (Goblin) in the upcoming historical Korean drama “The King: The Eternal Monarch”.
“The King: The Eternal Monarch” will tell a parallel world story between the history and modern world, which will involve a Korean emperor named Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho) who tries to close the door between the two worlds and detective Jung Ta Eul (Kim Go Eun) of the Republic of Korea who struggles to save the lives of his loved ones. Together Lee Gon and Jung Ta Eul end up fighting against the evil.
Kim Go Eun is also likely to play her look alike Luna who is a criminal.
Woo Do Hwan will take on the role of Jo Eun Seob, a public service worker in the modern world and also of Jo Young, a bodyguard of emperor Lee Gon (according to Soompi).
Pretty interesting! parallel world is my favourite topic. And being able to see that in a Korean drama and that too with the star-studded cast, I’m getting crazy. Here is my theory about the plot!
So I guess all the leads in the drama will have a dual role. Since it is a story about parallel world. And in the parallel world, same person exist in two different worlds, but both with opposite lifestyles. You see, we already know that Kim Go Eun and Woo Do Hwan will play the double roles. Kim Go Eun’s character Luna could be that of a history. And most importantly Lee Min Ho could also have a double role. If its true this could be a big spoiler.
Kdrama “The King: The Eternal Monarch” is expected to release in early 2020.
