List of Historical Korean Dramas that aired in 2018

Unfortunately, this year we had very few of them. This was really sad for historical kdrama lovers, but don’t worry next year in 2019 there will be a lot of them. In fact we have a drama “The Crowned Clown” coming in the first month of 2019.

Though there are few but all of them are worth watching and one of them became one of the best Korean drama of the year.

So here is a list of Historical Korean dramas of 2018. Enjoy! 🙂

1. Mr. Sunshine

“Mr. Sunshine” is based on Joseon Era and focus on the romance of a soldier (Lee Byung Hun) and an aristocrat’s daughter (Kim Tae Ri).

2. Grand Prince

“Grand Prince” tells the story of a love triangle between two princes (Oh Sang Wook and Yoon Shi Yoon)and a woman (Jin Se Yeon).

3. 100 Days My Prince

“100 Days My Prince” is a story about a prince (D.O.) in Joseon era who loses his memory and ends up living the life of a common man for 100 days. A woman detective (Nam Ji Hyun) helps him to find his identity.

So that’s all. Yeah! just 3. So less, I know! but these dramas received a lot of love, especially EXO’s D.O.’s “100 Days My Prince”.

Each one of them is worth watching. I don’t think that there is any other.

Do let me know how much you liked these dramas in comments!

Anneyeong! ❤ 🙂

  1. 100 days my prince was good overall but I am not fully satisfied with the drama. Dropped Mr.sunshine because it got too boring and dragged a lot in middle. Didn’t try grand prince because of love triangle and not so familiar actors.

    1. Yes! you are right Mr. Sunshine actually lost its popularity during it’s half time. And I suggest you try Grand Prince as I have heard it’s good and you should never drop a drama because of unfamiliar actors as I have seen many good Kdramas with not so famous actors. 😉
